Tuesday we went to pick up the italian students at the airport of Charleroi. Everyone was still a bit shy so wasn’t a lot of talking on the bus ride.
Wednesday we had breakfast at school so we could get to know each other. It was a festive occasion which we helped to set up in the morning. Afterwards we showed the italian students our school and had a drink with them in our favorite café ‘De zwarte’! For lunch we went to the McDonald’s with the whole group. An hour later we took the bus to go lasershooting.
Thursday we went to Antwerp, or like the Italians call it ‘Anversa’. We walked around the whole day and had a look at the Red Star Line Museum.
Friday the Italian students have had a Dutch lesson. Afterwards we visited the National Playing Card Museum.
Saturday we’ve watched a movie in the theater, had dinner with the rest of the group and partied all night long.
Sunday we’ve been laying in our beds till 2 pm.
Monday we went to Bruges. We’ve only been there for 2 hours though cause the train ride was really long. In the evening we’ve throwed a party. Not a great idea since we both had a hangover the next day.
It was an awesome week! Everyone had a great time, both Italian and Belgian students. Apart from a few disappearances, everything went really well. The activities made sure we developed a strong relationship despite the difficult communication sometimes.
